Darren proudly holds the Sandwell Arch trophy beside the 18th green, Monday 29th August, 2011

This prestigious 36 hole scratch medal attracts the best amateurs from the Midland Region. Darren's gross scores of 74 + 69 = 143 pipped Dean Porter ( Sandwell Park G.C. ) by one shot to take the trophy. This is an outstanding achievement by Darren and demonstrates the great progress he's made this year.

 Other notable scores from Worcestershire players were, Jon Hems ( MoseleyG.C.) 73+73 = 147, 7th Place,  and Matt Feavyour ( Rose Hill G.C.) 71 + 78 = 149, 13th Place.
