Worcestershire Union Captains and Guests Tournament 2011
at The Worcestershire Golf Club, Thursday 29th September

On a perfect day for golf, the Captains of 22 of the clubs in the County and their guests enjoyed a very sociable day at the oldest, and one of the best, clubs in the county.
Playing Betterball Stableford off 3/4 handicap the event was won by the home team of Andy Davies and his Vice-Captain Mike Sterry.
45 is no mean performance and the players on the patio were impressed by the way Andy played the last.
Forty feet above the hole, on a green that slopes wickedly back to front, Andy trickled a putt down the green, and seemingly minutes later it fell in the hole for the clinching birdie and 4 points.
A magnificent Roast Pork dinner was enjoyed by all.
Barry Drew of Fulford Heath made a very nice vote of thanks on behalf of the visitors
It was the typical golf day when very nice people come together and enjoy themselves.
The County enjoyed entertaining its guests!
